TÜSİAD’s strategic development unit TÜSİAD International visited Rome on 28th June. Issues considered included Turkish – Italian bilateral economic relations as well as EU-related matters.
TÜSİAD President of the Board of Directors Ümit Boyner headed the delegation and held meetings with the President of TÜSİAD’s counterpart organization in Italy CONFINDUSTRIA, Emma Marcegaglia. Commenting on the meeting to members of the press, Boyner stated that a serious desire for cooperation between Italian and Turkish companies had emerged.
Accompanying the TÜSİAD President of the Board of Directors on the trip were TÜSİAD High Advisory Council Vice President Aldo Kaslowski, TÜSİAD Vice President of the Board of Directors Tayfun Beyazıt, TÜSİAD International Vice President Selçuk Saraçoğlu, TÜSİAD International Executive Board Member Giuseppe Farina and TÜSİAD Secretary General Zafer Ali Yavan.
