Innovation in the Health Sector in Turkey on its Way To European Union Membership

The fundamental objective of the study, “Innovation in the Health Sector in Turkey on its Way to European Union Membership” commissioned by TÜSİAD, is the evaluation of the possibility and environment for innovation within Turkey’s health sector in light of the experiences and implementations in the world and the EU as well as putting forward recommendations aimed at improvement. These recommendations target the improvement of innovation in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical technology and eHealth.   

 
This study entitled, “Innovation in the Health Sector in Turkey on its Way to European Union Membership” has been prepared within the framework of the Health Working Group’s activities affiliated to TÜSİAD’s Social Affairs Commission by Z. Güldem Ökem working as a researcher at the Centre for European Policy Studies-CEPS.
