TÜSİAD youth project short-listed groups and TÜSİAD mentors determined

The application period for the competition arranged in the framework of the "These Young People Have the Potential!" project initiated by TÜSİAD in order to highlight youth unemployment as one of the most important problems facing the country has ended. 102 project groups vied for a place in this competition for good business ideas arranged with the participation of university students. The 15 short-listed projects won the right to go forward to the next stage of the competition.

It was determined that each of the short-listed project groups' business plans will continue to be developed under the mentorship of a TÜSİAD Member prior to final evaluation. Young people deemed successful in the competition will gain the benefit of internship possibilities, vision visits and mentoring services by TÜSİAD Members. Initially, participation in the "These Young People Have the Potential!" project launched in 2011 will be from ODTÜ (METU - Middle East Technical University) and Bilkent University student communities. In future years, the project will expand to other universitites and cities.
