The Bosphorus University – TÜSİAD Foreign Policy Forum held a seminar on 27th May under the title
"Democratic Transitions in the Arab World: Problems and Prospects".
The opening speech was delivered by the forum’s moderator, Bosphorus University lecturer Professor Hakan Yılmaz. International Crisis Group Project Director for Iraq, Lebanon and Syria, Peter Harling, and Assistant Associate Professor Dr. Şaban Kardaş from the Union of Chambers & Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Economy and Technology University, both participated as speakers, scrutinizing latest events in the Arab countries and their effects on the region.
