TÜSİAD counterpart organization CONDINDUSTRIA Emilia-Romagna region representatives visited TÜSİAD on 15th June. A meeting was held between the counterpart organization representatives and a delegation led by Mrs. Ümit Boyner, the President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD under the scope of the visit. Economic relations and investment opportunities between Turkey and the Emilia-Romagna region were covered in the meeting.
After the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between TÜSİAD and Confindustria Emilia-Romagna. The MoU, signed on behalf of TÜSİAD’s Board by Mr. Tayfun Bayazıt, the Vice-President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD, foresees expanding relations through delegation visits and the setting up of a business forum either in Turkey or in Italy.
With its capital in Bologna, the Emilia-Romagna region is one of the most highly industrialized in Italy and contains many significant opportunities for the Turkish business world.
