Koç University-TÜSİAD Economic Research Forum (ERF) organized the Launch of ERF Report "The Transformation of International Production Linkages and Turkey" on March 2, 2012.

Opening speeches of the meeting were delivered by Mr. Tayfun Bayazıt, Member of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD and President of the Economic and Financial Affairs Committee, and Prof. Dr. Sumru Altuğ, Director of Koç University-TÜSİAD Economic Research Forum.

The presentation of the report titled “The Transformation of International Production Linkages and Turkey” was made by the authors, Prof. Dr. Erol Taymaz from Middle East Technical University, and Prof. Dr. Kamil Yılmaz, from Koç University.

The meeting included a panel discussion on the report, moderated by Dr. Ümit İzmen from Istanbul Aydın University. Mr. Şeref Saygılı, Economist at the Central Bank of R.T. and Dr. İzak Atiyas from the Sabancı University were the speaker of the panel session.

The report is part of the efforts of the efforts to develop foreign trade performance of Turkey and it was prepared by PricewaterhouseCoopers under the coordination of the TUSİAD Foreign Trade and Customs Union Working Group.
