TÜSİAD Board of Directors visited MÜSİAD

Members of Board of Directors of TÜSİAD visited Mr. Nail Olpak, President of MÜSİAD (Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association) on November 20th, 2012.

TÜSİAD delegation headed by Ms. Ümit Boyner, President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD, consisted of TÜSİAD Board Members, Ms. Cansen Başaran Symes, Mr. Cenk Çimen, Mr. Nezih Barut, Mr. Volkan Vural, and General Secretary of TÜSİAD, Mr. Zafer Ali Yavan.

The TÜSİAD delegation visited MÜSİAD headquarters in Sütlüce. Following the closed meeting, Ms. Ümit Boyner and Mr. Nail Olpak made a statement to the members of media

Ms. Boyner said that the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD is paying a return visit. She reminded that TÜSİAD and MÜSİAD are two civil, independent and voluntary NGOs and stated: “We are two organizations working for Turkey to become more democratic, more competitive, a country which completed its transition to the sustainable growth, and which takes its place among the major league players in the global economic and political arena. Our purposes, methods and efforts are in parallel most of the time.” Emphasizing the importance of a good dialogue between two associations, Ms. Boyner expressed that it is very healthy to collaborate, to establish dialogue, and to exchange opinion for all civil society institutions having common goals.
