Mrs. Ümit Boyner delivered a speech at the "16th Entrepreneurship and Business World Summit" organized by TÜRKONFED in Ankara

Ms. Ümit Boyner, The President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD delivered an opening address at the “TÜRKONFED 16th Entrepreneurship and Business World Summit” hosted by Ankara Young Businessman Association (ANGİAD), in Ankara.

In her speech, Ms Boyner remarked that the economic performance of Turkey was obviously quite strong during the last ten years and she expressed her concern saying “Quantitative criteria show that we are still far from the threshold to avoid the middle income trap. It seems that we will be caught in the middle income trap unless we increase rapidly our per capita national income according to purchasing power parity with the 2005 constant prices, by 50%”.
