TÜSİAD’s 42 nd General Assembly which met today on 19 January 2012 elected a new Board of Directors under the leadership of President of the Board of Directors Ümit Nazlı BOYNER.
TÜSİAD’s upcoming General Assembly scheduled for January 19, 2012 hosts Deputy Prime Minister Ali BABACAN as a keynote speaker.
Ümit Boyner, President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD delivered an opening speech at the opening of the 5th International Corporate Governance Summit hosted by the Turkish Corporate Governance Association of Turkey on January 17.
“TÜSİAD mourns the loss of Mr. Denktaş, the founding President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, after a life dedicated to the Cyprus cause. TÜSİAD extends its deepest condolences to his family, Cyprus and the Turkish people."
A TÜSİAD delegation under the leadership of Ümit Boyner, President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD paid a visit to Prof. Gökhan Çetinsaya, PHd, Governor of the Higher Education Board on January 13, 2012 in the capital.
Chairman of TÜSİAD High Advisory Council Erkut Yücaoğlu: "To undertake this duty for one more year, and this recommendation was submitted for the consideration of Mrs. Boyner accepted the candidacy for this honorable duty for a new period of one year on December 23, 2011."
TÜSİAD organized a conference titled “Competitiveness in a Low Carbon Economy: Prospects for 2012 and Beyond” with UBCCE, of which TÜSİAD is a founder and member. At the conference, "Green Business Support Strategy" report prepared by UBCCE was presented to the public.
